Will I lose my golden visa with the new reform?

No, the new reform does not mean you will lose your Golden Visa. Spain’s president, Pedro Sánchez, announced on April 8, 2024, plans to remove the Golden Visa, but nothing is official yet—it’s just news.

If you already have the Golden Visa, don’t fret, you won’t be affected by this change.

Specific details about the future changes and their implications haven’t been released yet.

Moreover, you can still apply for Spain’s Golden Visa, since nothing has been officially implemented.

So, if you’re interested in obtaining this residence permit, now’s the time to act. Seize the opportunity before anything becomes finalized and you miss out on your chance!
